Blood Pressure

To have your blood pressure taken or for 24hr Blood Pressure Monitoring (request by GP only).  Please make an appointment with the Practice Healthcare Assistant.  Appointments can be made by contacting reception on telephone: 0151 928 8668

Cervical Smears

Once you have received your invite for a Cervical Smear screening please contact reception to arrange an appointment with either our practice nurse or a practice nurse in Litherland Town Hall 7 day access or please make an appointment with the Practice Nurse. Travel Vaccinations and Immunisations

If you require a travel review for your next holiday please contact reception 0151 928 8668 for aa 30 minute appointment with our practice nurse for a full travel review and vaccinations.

* Please note * our practice nurse appointments are booked up 6 weeks in advance. Most travel reviews should be booked 4 - 6 weeks prior to your holiday.

If you require any advice on foreign travel, please ring the information line at the Liverpool School of Tropical medicine on 0151 705 3100 whenever possible 8 weeks before leaving.

Pregnancy Advice / Child Health Advice

Please contact your midwife for pregnancy health care advice. 
Antenatal Clinic's take place on Wednesdays (times vary due to training days). This clinic is run by Community Midwives.

Baby & child immunisation clinics run on a Wednesday morning from 
09.00am to 12.30pm.  The Practice Nurse and Doctor run this clinic.

General advice on health problems in children under five can be obtained from the Practice Nurse during the above clinic. If your child has recently become unwell, please consult the surgery during normal surgery hours rather than during this clinic this avoids the possibility of spreading infections.

Medicals

New Patient Medicals are available with the Practice Healthcare Assistant by appointment. Insurance and other Medical Examinations are not covered by the NHS but can be arranged by special appointment with your doctor. If there is a fee involved, the receptionist can advise how much this will be.
